About
I live on ten wild acres in north central Florida with my husband and 108-pound, crazy yellow Lab-German shepherd “puppy,” Max, who also loves to garden.
I’m a member of the Florida Native Plant Society (FNPS) and sit on the board of directors of the Paynes Prairie chapter in Gainesville. From time to time I post about the ethnobotanical uses of native plants.on the FNPS blog.
I enjoy eating wild foods and I am working on a book about the medicinal and edible uses of herbs and plants that are native to or widely naturalized in Florida.
